A lot of brides and grooms wish to create great wedding centerpieces, but at the same time save while doing this. The common idea for wedding centerpieces is that most will just use flowers and then waste it after using them. After most have wasted their time and energy, in finding the right centerpieces, most will just forget the fragrance of the flowers after the wedding is done. However, there are still several ways for brides to find centerpieces that would make them save and at the same time will also allow their guests to marvel their unique centerpiece creation.
If you are on your search to finding your own wedding centerpieces for the big day, here are just some ideas:
1. Use candles. You have probably seen this idea several times, but it is true that you can use candles in creating your own centerpieces. All you need to find are scented candles that will match your theme wedding. You can find various shapes, colors and sizes when it comes to your candles. A good idea is to find candles with the same scent and even sizes and shapes. You can also add variety to the colors and probably put a couple of candles per table, but in different sizes for a more creative artwork.
Using scented candles will allow you to save since they are a lot cheaper than using flowers depending on how many you will use for the wedding centerpieces. If you still intend to use flowers together with the candles, you can use only a few and give the illusion that you are using a lot by using candles of different heights or even floating them in water with a couple of flowers, rocks and the like.
2. Use flowers. Flowers can also be a bit tricky since you will have to use a lot of them and even pay a lot for them. To be able to save, talk to your florist and discuss the types of flowers that are in season. Finding out of season are known to be more expensive than those that are in season. You can also consider using cheaper wedding flowers like carnations or baby’s breath. If done well, you can have both great centerpieces and save at the same time.
3. Use plants. Don’t underestimate what you can do with plants. If you are going to have a green themed wedding, you can consider using plants for your summer wedding centerpieces. There are so many different types of plants that you can use. You can even use grass. With a bit of creativity, you are definitely going to get the result you want out of them.
