Although most brides choose the wedding dress first and then look for the right bridal jewelry before their wedding shoes, but still your wedding shoes is still a necessary factor to complete your wedding ensembles. You do not want to walk barefoot in your wedding ceremony, although it will be great to do so if you intend to marry on the beach, but if not, having great wedding shoes together with your wedding dress is a must.
When looking for the perfect wedding shoe, you need to be comfortable with the shoe that you are having your eyes on. Avoid shoes that are tight or loose since this will cause you big problems. Remember that if your shoes are too tight, it may cause you to trip and even fall during your special day. It may even change the way you walk in your dress and this is surely going to lead you to even have a bad day for your wedding. Have someone with you when looking for the right wedding shoes like one of your bridesmaids. Try them on first and walk in them if it is comfortable enough to be certain that it is just the perfect fit.
After finding the right pair, it would be better if you can use try your shoes on for some walking inside your house a week before the wedding. This will let the shoe fit better and become even softer for the bride to wear. It will also allow the bride to become familiar and comfortable with the shoe before the wedding.
Be certain though that your dress and your shoes compliment each other. If you are going to wear a short wedding dress, a high heel is probably better especially if the wedding is a formal indoor wedding, but if your wedding will happen on the beach, then a high heel shoes will probably not fit.
